i•con•o•clast: n. {ahy-kon-uh-klast} An innovator. One who challenges traditional beliefs and institutions.
The Iconoclast award-winning series represents the “flagship” beers of Mayfield Brewing Company. These beers will be available through high-end retail outlets. The product selection will feature three versions of the “Iconoclast” series. The “Iconoclast” name denotes the departure from normal beer. The “Mayfield Brewing Company” name and logo use local California iconography to create strong associations for local audiences as well as bring to light the historical context of the original Mayfield Brewing Company.
Our products are imbued with the nuances and subtleties associated with wine. While we may start out similar to a small, vanity wine label, we are serious about establishing the brand as a growing, self-sustaining entity, and see an opportunity create a new and unique niche in gourmet wines and beers. Our purpose is to find the right personality, tone, and messages to make the introduction of our new products successful as we move toward our long term goals.
